Why We Love Our Health Sharing Program {An Alternative to Health Insurance}

Honestly, this post was not anywhere in my thoughts until suddenly yesterday afternoon when I received a check in the mail from our health sharing program for over $1k totally unexpectedly.  When they say God always provides, it really is true. This is proof and we are so very grateful! I have had so many people ask about this program that we have been a part of for a while and decided I might as well write something that explains it a little, so here we are. I had never heard of health sharing programs before a Facebook friend mentioned looking for affordable health insurance and it was suggested in the comments as an alternative.  It piqued my interest as I already hated insurance that didn’t really cover anything I wanted to use it for. Fun Times at the Oktoberfest

This past weekend, our Catholic church hosted their 2 nd annual Oktoberfest.  This year was actually supposed to be the 3 rd Oktoberfest but Hurricane Harvey cancelled it last year due to the extensive remodeling that had to be done. I think I took a picture because this made me feel more official as a business. Plus, Genevieve is in the background. It was a great family friendly church event to help raise money for the Catholic parish in Dickinson, Texas that I have been attending for almost 25 years. It was also great that as a family business, we were able to help out by being a sponsor this year.  I think there will always be a soft place in my heart for the church and school where I grew up, met my husband in 1st grade, got married, and now get to see my children grow up in.  We are very lucky to be a part of Queen of Angels!
