Happy 2nd Birthday, Gabriella! {The Short Birth Story and What We've Been Up to Lately}
Yesterday, Gabriella turned 2, so I figured it is as good atime as any to finally write down her birth story, or what I remember of it. All I remember is Gabbie was a pain and different than myother births. I had always heard the thirdbirth was a wildcard and it really seemed to be true with her. I kept having contractions on and off at nightin the days before her birth resulting in lack of sleep and much exhaustion!She was actually due on our 4 th anniversary, February 1, 2018 but ofcourse took her sweet time and didn’t come until 6 days after! I started having regular contractions once again on theevening of Tuesday, February 6 th except this time they continuedthrough the night and didn’t stop at 4am like they had done in previousnights. Labor was slow and seemed liketook forever. I think I asked my midwifeto come around 2am and she did. I guess I thought contractions were regular butthen they slowed down again.
