Hello there! Welcome to my new blog following the journey of raising my kids while being married to a wonderful mechanic. I’m not really sure what I am doing so bear with me as I figure all of this out.
Travel, and travel often. I think that's my new motto. Anyone that has known us for a year or even a few months, knows we travel often. We decided a few years ago that life's too short to stay home or to just work all the time. Even a bad day traveling is better than a good day at work, unless of course your work IS traveling which we are dreaming to one day do full time. Long story short, I'm now a Cruise Planners travel agent, an associate of Joshua and Karen Edge, Cruise Planners franchise owners. I was already working on booking a cruise the day after I officially became an agent. (P.S. Thanks to my sister for being my first client!) Although I am working under the host agency called Cruise Planners, I can book more than just cruises, including but not limited to: all-inclusive resorts, international travel, local land travel, Disney and Universal vacations, and so much more! Now let's back up. As many now, we have the privilege of owning our own automotive r...
My husband inspired me to finally put the birth story of baby #7 into writing. He asked me last week if I had written it yet and when I asked why, he said he always enjoyed reading them. Who knew?! I learn something new every day, haha. Baby toes 😍 Today marks one month since our surprise baby BOY was born. I think I’m still in disbelief that we actually have another boy after 4 girls in a row! We chose to do things a little bit differently this pregnancy. I guess some will say we are a little crazy but I prefer to refer to it as a complete submission and surrendering to God’s will and having the utmost Faith in Him. I think the term some people use is wild pregnancy but in reality, for us, it was the most empowering and least stressful pregnancy. I am very fortunate to have fairly straightforward and uncomplicated pregnancies. This one was no different. I was lucky enough to even visit Switzerland very early on in my pregnancy. And while I do have nausea and some of the ty...
This is really just a test post. I'm trying to move all of my posts from my mindingmymatties.com Wordpress blog to here so I can keep them available to you for free. I know there are quite a few people who like to go back and read my birth stories so I want to make sure I still have them out there somewhere. I'm not sure if everything will transfer. I'm definitely not a pro at this so I'm just going to try to do what I can so I don't lose them. Feel free to subscribe for when I upload new posts, if ever, haha. Here we go. Also yes I am moving to blogspot because hosting on Wordpress now costs almost $200 per year. Wowza. As you know, I am a frugal person and I have never made that much through my blog so it is not beneficial to continue there. This pic is already like 6 months old but it's the newest one I have of us on this computer, ha.
